My name is Stefanovic Radivoje, and despite the fact that I am screen-printer, I also deal with prepress,
laser engraving and something more. The interest for the press was raised by my grandfather, but considering
that my parents were screen-printers also, that interest for this subject was broadening. After I had finished
Elementary School, I have attended Secondary Graphic School in Belgrade (educational center for graphics “Milic Rakic”)
and successfully finished it as screen-printer. Now I have over 20 years of experience in this area,
but I am constantly developing my knowledge. Since I deal with the screen-printing technique successfully I
decided to start with prepress also. Learning from the books, I overcome CorelDraw. CorelDraw was my first choice
because of the vector drawings, which are needed for prepress. Later my knowledge for preprees was in fact my
second source of income. The next logical step was learning dealing with Bitmaps. Slowly, step by step, I dialed with PhotoShop, also.
The interest for the PhotoShop was very useful soon, because digital press and electronics media are in advance.
Today is impossible to imagine any work without modern technologies. When I had opportunity to learn working on laser
engraving machine, I seize that opportunity immediately. Using my CorelDraw knowledge I had easily overcome the problem.
Today, it is hard to imagine everyday life without Internet. Internet is not luxury, not fun, it is a way of living.
Considering the situation, I wanted to introduce myself in web site version, I was looking through several patterns,
ready-made solutions and similar, but I have decided for the hard one. I started learning HTML and CSS so that I
could make web site as I imagined. Again, I have taken the book in my hands and slowly step by step started learning.
Maybe somebody would say that this is not useful, but why not learning something new and expand the knowledge.
Building my web site, the one you are looking now, I have proved to myself and to the others, once again,
that it is never late to learn something new and go step forward.
